Biography
J.L. Daughtrey, an award-winning fantasy author who is inspired by classic fantasy tales, mythology, and video games, is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and a former police officer in the Atlanta metro area. He began writing fantasy as an escape from the thousands of police reports he composed during his time in law enforcement. As he prepares for his upcoming book release, he enjoys spending time at the beach, playing soccer, and being with his wife and daughter. When he is not writing, he works on electronic systems for the government. Some of his favorite books include fantasy series such as Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire, and The Witcher, all of which have influenced his own work, particularly the Orbit Stone Saga.
